THE CHALLENGE
Christine has been running her private psychotherapy practice for 20+ years. Through providing exceptional services, she built a strong and loyal clientele base and a close-knit wellness community. However, her branding did not reflect her quality of service and her digital presence was not strong enough to tap into new opportunities for growth in audience and potential customers.
THE SOLUTION
Together Christine and I discussed her vision for her private practice called Insights Wellness. Once I understood her mission and values, I designed her a logo, developed a new brand identity, implemented a social media marketing strategy, and completely refreshed her existing website.
Logo Design
There is a reason why it is said the eyes are the windows to the Soul. The new logo for Insights Wellness takes inspiration from Ajna, the sixth chakra and the center of perception, consciousness and intuition. The symbol of OHM and the rays of light coming from the eye represent the creative energy and power within each and every one of us, reminding us that "Every choice today creates your tomorrow."
The primary color of Insights Wellness, Insights Blue, is a deep ocean hue that embodies the serenity of blue, the flourishing of green, and the energy of yellow. Insights Blue promotes clear thought and relaxation. The secondary color is a dusty orange. Insights Orange evokes action and energy, yet the dustiness in the hue gives a sense of earthiness and stability.
Before
Prior to our collaboration, Christine’s website was outdated and color contrasts failed on all levels of WCAG AA and AAA standards. An H1 header and a CTA were missing above the fold on the homepage. The site truly did not reflect Christine’s level of expertise.
After
Once the logo and brand guidelines were finalized. I took on the task of completely refreshing Christine’s existing website to reflect her new brand identity. In addition to updating the look and feel, I also restructured the sitemap and updated the content to provide a more pleasant user experience. View the full website here.
Brand Awareness
Christine’s already had a pretty solid presence on social media. However, the posts mainly consisted of inspirational quotes that she had found from various sources. Helping with the management of the social media accounts, I worked to create a weekly content structure and schedule. The weekly structure would consist of a healthy mix of inspirational, educational, and promotional content.
In addition to ensuring all social media posts are consistently branded, we also work to increase engagement and visibility by generating weekly video content for reels.
Email Marketing
In addition to creating a stronger social media presence, we also worked together to create more product awareness through email marketing. Through creating a newsletter template that could be reused monthly we are now able to keep existing and new customers informed of new events/offers and educated with new blog posts and tips.
